Welcome to the daily Inside Scoop newsletter. The independent and bipartisan Election Assistance Commission is now commissionerless, raising real questions about election integrity. Plus Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, appeared this week for an initial hearing and there’s a lot of evidence against him, including an interview with his former roommate/romantic interest. The Trump administration last night ousted the three remaining members of the independent Election Assistance Commission, hamstringing the independent, bipartisan agency four months before this year’s midterms.
